Use of Internal Combustion Engine In Automotive Engineering

Heat Engine:


Internal combustion engine is a type of heat engine. Heat engine is a system in which heat energy changes in to Mechanical energy.
There are two basic types of heat engine and internal combustion engine is one of them as i mention in above definition.

  1. Internal Combustion Engine
  2. External Combustion Engine

Internal Combustion Engine:


Internal Combustion Engine is an Engine in which fuel burn with the working fluid. Internal combustion Engine is also called IC Engine.

External Combustion Engine:


Engine in which working fluid burn with the help of an external resource.External Internal engine is also called EC Engine.

Types of  Internal Combustion Engine:

There are so many types of internal combustion engine that are use in Mechanical industries such as:
  1. Types According to fuel used
  2. Types According to ignition method
  3. Types According to number of stokes
  4. Types According to working cycle
  5. Types According to speed
  6. Types According to cooling system

Use Of Air Compressors In Mechanical Engineering

Definition of Air Compressor:

Air Compressors is an Mechanical machine which is use to increase the pressure of air. Air Compressors suck the air from atmosphere , and we got high pressure air from outlet value called compressed air.

Use Of Compressed Air In Mechanical Engineering:

Compressed air is use for so many purposes like:

  1. Jet Engine
  2. Gas Turbine
  3. Lift
  4. Paint Spraying
  5. Pneumatic System etc.

Mechanical Engineer consider the backbone of an industry and it doesn't matter industry belong to him or he works for an other industry. All the work of machines and solving the little and all big issues in machine is the duty of a Mechanical Engineer. Mechanical Engineer is the person who has different types of Status in different kinds on Industries. Mechanical Engineer work as a Production Manager or Operator all kinds of industries needed him badly.

Mechanical Engineering:

It is branch of Engineering deals with Design, Structure, Manufacturing,Drawing and Assemble and Disassemble of Machine and different machine parts.Mechanical Engineering also dealing with construction , machine and uses of different machine in Different ways.
Their are many types of field where you work and make your self a very good Mechanical Engineering. Most of the people choose a specific field in Mechanical and Technology and serve themselves in an Industry or their own work.
